Work continues relatively apace on NDR, though it is shaping up to be more of an interactive novel than a gamebook that is often played for laughs. People expecting a retread of Outsider or Way Of The Tiger Overlord are going to be disappointed.

Do you know I had to struggle recently to remember what Eddora's name actually was originally from back when she used to be a real person. I managed eventually of course but still. It's one of the reasons the sequel timelines have been revised up to 100 years later. Meanwhile I wonder if anyone could PhotoShop Zoe Kravitz to be a Dark Elf?

Another memory I have unlocked from this bloody book was the one of the reasons 'Eddora' and I broke up was me trying to get a 2:1, which eventually ended in failure anyway. Previously to this both Eddora and I, who were at St Hilda's and Queens respectively, had advised her younger sister: 'No one should go to Oxford. It is a mistake to go to Oxford.' I was later to repeat this advice to another girl friend. Those of my readers who have lived the middle class dream might be advised to tell this to their own kids. Or not.

What that interview (thanks again for that) doesn't make clear is quite how many decisions I have made out of sheer hubris: and since 2009 I've worshipped a patron deity whose duty amongst the Olympians was to punish hubris amongst both gods and men. In any case, thanks for your sympathy. Realistically I would do it all again just to go through like being make to sign myself MEng (Hons) Oxon. I'm quite philosophical about it now, in my actual career It's more useful to have a general knowledge of engineering than be able to do Laplace transforms, or whatever.

Must of been telepathising with another planet like is possible under Bell's Theorem (if you want to know more get my martial arts book) Anyway, NDR the comedy mickey take adventure sequel will eventually get done, but for now i am writing Electra as compulsively as under a Geas.
