Hey cool man, I had the almost the entire set of the original FFs (up to #54) when i was a kid, and I even used to play Advanced FF quite alot. So it was great to see there is still a popular FF community online.
Stumblimg across this site I gave House of Horror a go seeing as it harked back to one of the original stories. I actually found it really difficult and found myself restarting more than I think i ever did back in the days. That wasn't so bad though, but when I did actually make it to the end and defeat the demon I was disappointed that you have to die also, being sucked into hell. Did I make a wrong turn? Is there anyway to avoid this? If not thats kinda suck-ass considering a stayed up late for two days only to be sucked into hell! :s

Hey all dont know if this has already been answered in previous postings but how the heck do u get past the count and his servant in House of Horror, ive managed to get the star of ages etc and the bronze necklace but i always end up gettin nailed by the black robed cronies :*(

guys can anyone submit something to this site? i've had a battered old copy of warlock of firetop mountain for 20 years now (it was second hand when i got it too!), and have always wanted to do my own version. some amazing ones on here, although i want to shoot the guy who did the House of Hell one, as it's impossible! normally they start you off with something easy, but that one throws you straight into the deep end from the start!

anyway, fantastic site and one i will be spending too much time on for the next 40 years (mainly trying to finish them all!). great work and a huge thumbs up!

Hi Mercs! Glad you're having fun playing "House of Horror". It is pretty difficult, you are correct. But I promise you that it can be solved, even if you have terrible player stats. So keep that in mind.

House of Horror is great, keep finding new things. But the boogey man keeps killing me, how can I kill it. It keeps scaring me to death even though I have fear points left. I cant get further with the game without killing it! Help!
