Welcome Justin. Yes, I read a few of those interplanetary spy books (I think I still own #3). Some of those puzzles still don't make sense to me, though.
I'm really putting my all into Riders of the Storm, and I think its an awesome book. But I'm completely stopped and am in need of a real spoiler.
Just past the fire elemental and through a dark tunnel, I find myself in a room with a portcullis at each opening. Well, half way through the room the rock cieling begins lowering until it crushes me to death.
How or what do I need to get out of that situation Or, maybe I shouldn't ieven be in that area in the first place. lol And here I thought I was doing so good. :) I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer.
Awesome books - can't wait for new adventures to conquer!! Loved these books growing up! Who remembers 'How to be an Interplanetary Spy?' (or similar) books? Which were a combination of choose your own adventure / gamebook / and 50's comic books?

I used to love these books growing up and i think youve done a great job . Really enjoyable thanks.
With Cyclops Island, to kick things off, you might want to visit the tavern in the village and buy a round of drinks.
Also, the encounters on the island are random so you might need to do a bit of wandering back and forth before you find everything at a given location.
I seem to be having trouble emailing you. it keeps coming back. However, I'd very much like a copy of Planet of the Spiders. I loved wrong way, go back, and look forward to reading its sequel. Thanks. My email address is prince.of.chaos@merseymail.com.
I finally got past the t-rex in Hellfire. I'm curious, however, in where to find the pair of rusty gauntlets Trinater wants? I think I found them before, in some type of animal's lair, but... Well, that was so long ago. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
So far I've been underwhelmed by a lack of interest in my new gamebook. FYI, the sequel to Wrong Way Go Back is entitled: Planet of the Spiders. It is jam-packed with 76.67% more references, and a whopping 400% increase in combat encounters! Battle the forces of Arachnon using 2 new weapons! Smash your way through the citadel with no time limit! Talk to plants!
If you would like to receive a copy to review, please email me at: ff_stories(a)hotmail.com
Thanks

Hey, all. I've been playing hellfire for awhile, but always end up dying. I recently got the time spell, and teleported myself back, but when I find the stone door, it won't open with the open door spells. Any suggestions? Also, any hints on riders of the storm? Are there anymore interactive sites like this one?
Hi all , i am new here . Complimets for the site its very good. I am now reading Hellfire and i must cheers the author the book is good. I am stuck at some places but that makes the game more interesting . Cheers all
Hello If anyone is interested in reading a draft of the sequel to Wrong Way Go Back in order to provide me with some feedback; please email me at: ff_stories(a)hotmail.com The story contains 100 references
I thought it was interesting myself. Took me several play throughs to beat it, and even then I had to use a lot of bookmarking and place saving because I kept missing crucial items. It took me so long to figure out the part with the acid river at the end, I can't even tell you how many times I thought I had it figured out only to get to the end again and die. And riders of the storm. Dude, that final battle was absolutely, without question brilliant. More FF bosses should be like that.
*Blush* Thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately I am well aware that there are plenty of people who don't like the book as well. The trouble is that it was too hard for most and this webpage makes it even harder!
I see, thanks Phil. Just wanted to say im well impressed with Hellfire (I think if the adventures are too easy whats the point?). I know quite a few people who are in the same frame of thinking. I was introduced to this site specifically because of the suppossed quality of Hellfire, and i agree completely of course. Basically Phil your getting yourself a small fanbase lol. I dont know if thats any inspiration to write another gamebook but I thought id mentionit anyway.
