Hi again. I know Jeff Sinasac has been gone for a while, so I probably can't ask him this directly. Do you think he would mind if I adapted this into a DnD one shot for my friends? I think this is really great and would make for an interesting campaign. It would only be used one time and I'll give full credit. |

When attacking the bats (paragraph 12), damage was reported as 1 stamina, despite varying from 1 to 6... (could reproduce). Also, the food found shortly thereafter usually performed as advertised, but it may have failed to work once (going from 17/19 to 18/19, I think). Couldn't reproduce. |
The bats are now fixed. I can't see anything wrong with the food in the next room, maybe you ate the food and drank the wine, which would give you a net gain of 1 STAMINA? |

Two choices in and dead with no warning other than "it's dark", although I have a lantern. (Went into maze, took 5th door, went north). I feel like I wasted my time reading the extremely lengthy introduction, which actually made me excited to play. What a shame! |

Took me ages to find the thing I needed to win and many attempts - great story and a decent challenge. The writing was evocative and in the true spirit of a fighting fantasy book. Great work! |

An awesome adventure, that I've just completed (on like my 50th attempt or so). Gripping, brilliantly written and almost as cunningly devious as some of the original FF Gamebooks - like Deathtrap Dungeon. Loved it |

This game is great, it's like returning to firetop mountain and my childhood, I don't think I could write this well, 4th death at the hands of a wererat's necklace (it even copies the stupid death accurately). |

Okay, this is very, very hard. Where do I find the holy water? |

I will be playing this again because it was loads of fun. I did it without the holy water, but just for curiosities sake, where is the holy water? |
