Three alternate paths to victory in a 50-ref story? I suppose this really is easy. Can't say it was particularly interesting either: i.e. the witch obviously only existed to fulfil a narrative function and the villain is lame. (The way the whole thing is described, you would get the impression he hasn't even benefited from it at all.) Probably the only surprising moment was when you get attacked by a soldier in the inn. And perhaps the only true "trap" moment in the game, which is

Literally everything else (besides not finding the blood secret at all, I guess) you can recover from. It's funny how this tiny story gets such a disproportionate number of comments, most just talking about how easy it was. It's less funny that with 50 refs, there are still about 2 typos per 5 refs. 2 "By the time you espy the stone circle," + "You can see the holy sight about a mile away now." (are we certain it's not site?) 4 " 'Thankyou, my friend.' " 13 "She look at you with her piercing red eyes." "is packed with various magical arcane " (?) 21 " 'Thankyou.' Rasps the figure." "can be blessed in the crypt of the ancestors'" (missing period.) 25 "There appears to be two locations of interest to you" 43 "On it is the inscription 'Make a sacrifice you prove your worth.'" |
